A vacancy has arisen for an existing substantive full-time B5 Medical Assistant to join the North Cumbria In-Patients Services at Carleton Clinic, Carlisle, Cumbria.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the management of patient pathways, ensuring that all necessary information and resources are available in a timely manner.
• Provide minute taking support.
• Support the preparation of tribunal reports.
• Document clinical encounters directly into RiO using a semi-structured approach, including appropriate detail around consent and capacity.
• Use a range of semi-structured assessments directly with service users to add to clinical assessment and treatment pathways.
• Under supervision, provide appropriate medical information for third parties regarding service users.
