            Key Responsibilities: 
Design and develop truck trailers and trailer components using 3D CAD software. 
Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and assembly documentation. 
Perform structural and mechanical design calculations. 
Support production teams during manufacturing and assembly processes. 
Conduct design reviews, fault finding, and engineering improvements. 
Ensure compliance with South African road transport regulations and industry standards. 
Liaise with suppliers, production teams, and project managers. 
Participate in prototype development, testing, and validation. 

Minimum Requirements: 
BEng / BTech / National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. 
35 years experience in truck trailer or heavy vehicle design. 
Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar CAD software.
