Under general supervision, performs duties in connection with the maintenance, repair, and installation and removal of station and yard mechanical equipment and structures. May operate overhead and mobile lifting equipment. May operate computers and related software as well as testing and inspecting equipment. Performs work alone or in conjunction with other employees depending upon the character and nature of the work assignment. Performs typical duties and works with other maintenance classifications as a composite crew in the performance of duties.
