1 Prospect and cultivate business relationships in order to generate new leads and opportunities for
new business.
2 Build pipeline through prospecting and cold calling.
3 Generate appointments and conduct presentations to clients to generate new corporate
agreements for logistics services.
4 Cross-sell products and conduct joint calling activities with internal partners.
5 Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from
newspapers, business directories, networking events, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web
sites, and other sources.
6 Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for new accounts.
7 Generate and submit weekly sales reports of business activities and results – work to achieve sales
goals.
8 Attend sales and service meetings as required.
