Negotiate / communicate with suppliers specifying quality, quantity, and delivery schedules 
Schedule, arrange, and follow-up on logistics to ensure cost effective and timely delivery of items on board 
Monitor schedules of the assigned group of vessels to optimize deliveries on board 
Proactively participate in department meetings and other activities.
