Stellenbosch University Centre for Pedagogy (SUNCEP) is a centre at Stellenbosch University (SU) which was established in 2013. The Centre has a dynamic operational structure, accommodating the following components: Teacher Professional Learning (TPL), Learner Enhancement (LE), University Preparation Programmes (UPP) and Research. SUNCEP provides quality teacher professional learning services through accredited professional qualifications, short courses and supplementary tuition programmes to teachers and learners. The Centre’s activities are planned and operationalised within the context of national and provincial education priorities, the SU Focus Areas, the Faculty of Education niche and research areas, and donor priority areas. Collaboration with specific SU support services strengthens the Centre's interaction with the community and allows the recruitment of suitable students for the different programmes.
