The Maintenance Technician performs a wide range of general maintenance duties across campus facilities and grounds. Responsibilities include responding to maintenance needs, assisting with repairs, supporting after-hours operational needs, and collaborating with Facilities and Security staff to maintain a safe and efficient campus environment. This position requires flexibility, teamwork, and the ability to perform physically demanding work in a variety of conditions. The evening shift is 1:00pm to 10:00 pm.

Receives written and oral work assignments from Maintenance Supervisor and obtains necessary tools and supplies from the maintenance shop.

Works extensively with Security to triage and coordinate repairs after normal business hours as they are reported.

Performs minor repairs to building fixtures such as minor plumbing and electrical repairs, light bulb changes and light carpentry as required.
