Summary The Maintenance Supervisor must have extensive knowledge of the building trades they supervise. These trades include but are not limited to Industrial Equipment Mechanic, Carpenter, Painter, Locksmith, Machinist, and Pipefitter. The incumbent must have the ability to work from sketches and blueprints; and have extensive knowledge of various codes, standards, and regulations that pertain to the trades under their supervision. Responsibilities Duties of the Maintenance Supervisor include but are not limited to: Incumbent assigns work to the unit work force daily. Prepares irregular tours and other schedules and submits them in advance to the Maintenance Supervisor. Maintain a balanced work load between the subordinate work groups, making adjustments in the work load as necessary.
