Key Responsibilities


  • Manage preventative and corrective maintenance activities.

  • Prioritize and allocate maintenance work to ensure timely completion.

  • Respond effectively to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime.

  • Ensure accurate completion of job cards, maintenance records, and downtime reporting.

  • Supervise and support maintenance staff, including performance, attendance, and work quality.

  • Maintain housekeeping standards within maintenance areas.

  • Take ownership of the facility and ensure compliance with company policies, SHEQ, food safety, and OHS requirements.

  • Participate in standby duties as required.

    • Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 (Matric).

  • Qualified Mechanical or Electrical Trade Test (Millwright / Fitter & Turner / Electrician)

  • 3–5 years' engineering/maintenance experience in an FMCG environment.
