About the role

Full‑time Maintenance Electrician opportunity based at our RX Plastics site in Ashburton.

You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, inspecting, and improving electrical systems and components, including lighting, wiring, fuses, and control systems. The role involves testing and diagnosing electrical faults while ensuring all work is completed in compliance with relevant electrical codes, blueprints, and industry standards.

• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve a preventive maintenance program to maximise equipment reliability and minimise downtime.
• Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns, diagnose root causes, and implement corrective and preventative solutions.
• Work closely with the Electrical Team Leader to ensure critical spare parts are identified, stocked, and readily available.
