Job Summary

Performs preventive maintenance and troubleshoots and repairs all shipyard production equipment; including motors and controllers, generators, power panels and sub-stations, PLCs , VFDs , public address systems, and HVAC and machinery controllers. Performs other related tasks as assigned, some of which may become essential to the position.

Qualifications Standards

This position requires a high school education or equivalent. Experience working in an industrial environment is preferred. Must have formal training in electrical theory or proven experience in trouble shooting and repairing electrical equipment.
