Summary :
Support preventative maintenance work. Perform welding, cutting, and fitting tasks. Must demonstrate the ability to coordinate efforts with the maintenance foreman, mine foreman, crusher/jig plant foreman and other mine personnel. Report maintenance concerns to the shift boss or foreman for the appropriate scheduling of maintenance functions or repairs. Mantain proper tool storage and organization, clean work areas and safe work conditions. Perform heavy manual clean-up using shovels, picks, hoes and brooms; Lift, carry, manipulate tools; Perform repetitive hand and arm functions as are required operating jacks, ratchet wrenches, chain hoists, and come-alongs; Operating forklifts and cranes. ...
