Responsibilities

• To undertake a wide range of Mechanical, Electrical and Building Maintenance duties of a semi‑skilled nature, both repair and pre‑planned. To be able to work as part of a team and act autonomously with minimum supervision guided by department’s standard operating procedures and advice notes
• Undertake unsupervised planned preventative maintenance and minor repair work, not requiring the attention of a fully qualified craftsman.
• Assist craftsmen and other Estates staff in maintenance, installation, and other such tasks as required helping the department reach its objectives.
• Completion of all report forms, logs and other such statutory recording procedures.
• Use of range of equipment and hand tools appropriate to the duties of the post.
