Role OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Mainframe DB2 System Programmer to support, administer, maintain, and enhance enterprise DB2 for z/OS environments. The role is responsible for DB2 subsystem administration, version upgrades, patching, performance tuning, troubleshooting, disaster recovery support, and ensuring the stability, availability, and security of mission-critical database platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, administer, and maintain IBM DB2 for z/OS subsystems and related database products.Plan and execute DB2 version upgrades, migrations, maintenance activities, fix packs, PTFs, APARs, and patching in line with enterprise change management processes.Perform DB2 subsystem customization, parameter management, zPARM updates, catalog maintenance, log management, and environment configuration.Monitor DB2 subsystem health, availability, capacity, and performance; identify issues proactively and implement corrective actions.Support database administration acti...
