Description Supervisory Responsibilities: None Purpose: Participates in the testing and development of new processes and procedures. Sets up and operate machines such as lathes, milling machines, gearing machines, grinders, manual machines, and deburring equipment to machine metallic work-pieces by performing the following duties. Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ensure a safe work environment for self and others. Follows all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program.
• Perform all duties of Machining Set-up personnel as needed
• Calculates and sets controls to regulate machining, or enters commands to retrieve, input, or edit computerized machine controls.
• When requested by engineering, evaluates experimental procedures and recommends changes or modifications for efficiency and adaptability to set-up and production.
