Key Responsibilities - Assist in the preparation and production of pastries and desserts according to standard recipes and quality guidelines.
- Ensure all pastry items meet presentation, taste, and portioning standards before service.
- Practice strict food safety and hygiene standards, including proper sanitation and cleanliness of all work areas.
- Follow FIFO procedures to ensure freshness and proper stock rotation.
- Store all ingredients, pastries, and products correctly in designated cold storage and dry areas.
- Operate kitchen and pastry equipment safely and correctly at all times.
- Support senior pastry chefs in daily production and service operations.
Requirements - Minimum 1 year of pastry kitchen experience in a fast-paced environment; fresh graduates from culinary/pastry schools are welcome.
