**Job Description:**
The CPSGT is accountable for performing, coordinating, and documenting physiologic studies of sleep and sleep-related disorders. The CPSGT, working with minimal supervision, provides care and education to patients via technology, therapeutic interventions, and coordination of care with other health care professionals. The CPSGT credential is required for this role.
**Essential Functions**
+ Monitors and documents on patients undergoing physiologic sleep studies.
+ Monitors and tracks equipment and supplies.
+ Completes record keeping and charting.
+ Ability to address and solve both technical and interpersonal problems.
+ Demonstrated communication skills
+ Ability to use computerized and mechanical equipment efficiently.
+ Perform overnight Polysomnographic studies, using various modes of Positive Airway Pressure (PAP) therapy interventions.
+ Perform Home Sleep Apnea Tests (HSAT).
