Job Responsibilities

Provides direct care to students, including but not limited to administration of medications, first aide, and emergency medical assistance. Administration of medication, provision of student treatments, tube feedings, medical assessments, and other related nursing needs of students. Maintains adequate medical records by recording and reporting students' signs, symptoms, reactions, and progress through analysis of records. Reports pertinent information regarding students to the physician and Nurse Administrator/Manager II. Assists in the identification of special needs for students with multiple disabilities and assists in the planning and development of in-service and educational programs for staff and students, as requested.
