Licensed Practical Nurse, Correctional Medicine

Summary of Responsibilities:

Assumes responsibilities for direct nursing care of assigned inmates/patients, adolescent through adult, under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician in a correctional facility. May house (phone number removed) inmates/patients.

Provides nursing services to patients in accordance with the scope of the Licensed Practical Nurse license. Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of the MetroHealth Syustem.

Mandatory qualifications:

Licence Practical Nurse in the State of Ohio ONLY

Active BLS from the American Heart Association only

Preferred Qualifications:

One year of clinical experience in nursing.
