Locums - Part-time Pathologist Opportunity In Northern Illinois

Locums - A well respected medical center is seeking a Pathologist to assist with sporadic coverage in northern Illinois.

Board Certified or Board Eligible Pathologist

Start ASAP for ongoing sporadic coverage needs

Coverage needs include week of August 24, week of August 31, Nov. 24-28, Dec. 29-Jan. 2

Mon-Fri 8a-5p

Some dates include on-call for night shifts and 24-hour coverage

Duties include pathology sign-out, grossing, cytology review, blood smear interpretation, blood bank issues, adequacy checks for FNAs and CT-guided biopsies

Must be comfortable working independently and managing pathology caseload

Histotech support available

Minimum of 1 year of experience required

EMR EPIC

Active IL license & recent case logs required

Starting rate 200/hr dependent upon experience, mileage, lodging, malpractice provided
