There is an opportunity to join an existing team on a fixed‑term appointment with possible extension and a permanent post at the end of 18 months.

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the departmental consultants, providing high quality healthcare to oral and maxillofacial surgical patients (consultation and treatment). The post holder will maintain good communication with all Orthodontic and Maxillofacial Consultants, and will be responsible for inpatient and outpatient care, including the management of head and neck cancer patients. The department has access to main theatre, day‑case theatre and minor oral surgery lists; the candidate will play an active part in delivering all elements of the service, with the post tailored to the educational needs and interests of the successful candidate.
