We are seeking a 12‑month Locum Consultant in Trauma & Orthopaedics, focusing on Adult Trauma and Lower Limb Surgery, to join a team of 24 Orthopaedic Consultants at our Trust's Pinderfields, Pontefract & Dewsbury hospitals. The role emphasizes Lower Limb surgical service and requires a sub‑specialty interest and fellowship experience in this area, with in‑depth adult trauma training.

Responsibilities

• Provide a comprehensive orthopaedic service including general adult and paediatric trauma, with particular experience in lower and upper limb trauma.
• Take clinical responsibility for patients under your care and deliver evidence‑based care in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Contribute to undergraduate, postgraduate, and multi‑professional educational development.
• Participate in a 1:16 on‑call commitment for urgent and emergency care and demonstrate active trauma management.
