Locum Consultant in Paediatric Nephrology

This is a 10PA locum appointment for a Locum Consultant Paediatric Nephrologist in the department of Paediatric Nephrology at Leeds General Infirmary. The role is available from September for a period of 6 months, with the possibility of extension to cover the entire maternity period. The successful applicant will deliver 10PAs supporting the Paediatric Nephrology team (Dr Yadav, Dr McCallister, Dr Prajapati, Dr Newnham & Dr Tyerman), provide tertiary nephrology care, and contribute to a 1:6 on‑call rota.

Main duties of the job

Provide clinical care for children with complex nephrological issues, including acute kidney injury requiring dialysis, long‑term dialysis access, renal biopsy, specialist imaging and renovascular angiography.
