Bluebridge is looking for a hands-on Hotel Fitter to join our fleet and help keep our passenger spaces safe, functional, and well presented.

Every day people travel with Bluebridge across Cook Strait. Clean cabins, comfortable lounges, and well maintained facilities are an important part of that experience. This role helps make sure everything onboard works as it should.

This is a live-onboard role working a 1 week on / 1 week off roster. During your onboard week you will live and work on one of our ferries as part of the ship’s crew.

What you will be doing

Maintaining passenger cabins and crew accommodation
Repairing doors, locks, flooring, fittings, and fixtures
Carrying out minor plumbing repairs to showers, sinks, and taps
