The LPN II is a part of a multi-disciplinary team providing nursing care to patients in the Family Medicine Unit. He/she acts as the Family Medicine Unit Charge Nurse. He/She will communicate to the Vice-President for Nursing Services and the Nursing Supervisor pertinent patient information, any staff issues on a daily ongoing basis.
Position Requirements/Qualification:
Education/Experience: Graduate from a standard High School or GED Equivalent. Graduate from an approved Licensed Practical Nurse Program. Two year's experience in acute care or ambulatory care setting required. A minimum clinical experience with children and adults desired.
Licensure/Certification: Licensed to practice as an LPN in the State of Florida. Must maintain current CPR certification from the American Heart Association and IV Certified.
