The USC Department of Psychiatry and the Behavioral Sciences is seeking a California-licensed clinical psychologist to provide outpatient mental health services to adult patients with a variety of psychiatric conditions and comorbid medical conditions at the Los Angeles General Medical Center (Los Angeles General). The chosen candidate will be based in the Adult Outpatient Psychiatric Clinic (AOPC) at Los Angeles General and will work closely with resident physicians in psychiatry to provide individual and group psychotherapy supervision; perform psychosocial evaluations; conduct psychological, cognitive, and diagnostic assessments; provide short-term, evidence-based psychotherapies; consult with psychiatry and internal medicine physicians in the ongoing management of behavioral health issues; and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams in treatment planning, monitoring, and quality assurance in patient care.
