Job Purpose

To support Trafigura’s developing business across the APAC region by providing legal advice in connection with transactional and regulatory matters across the entire portfolio of Trafigura’s commercial trading activities. This includes physical and financial oil trading, oil products, bulk commodities, metals, power and carbon. The role focuses on banking finance and structured trade finance and delivers clear, succinct legal support under tight time constraints and commercial imperatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact in the APAC region for legal services.
• Provide transactional advice on structured trade finance documentation such as prepayments, banking facilities, sale and purchase contracts, and related documents.
• Offer regulatory advice on applicable regulations for new and existing business across the APAC region, including financial regulation.
