The role is critical in supporting all legal and regulatory matters for Liberty Singapore. The role will report into the Co-Heads of Legal Singapore and sit within the Legal team as part of Liberty International Insurance APAC.
Responsibilities - Support all legal and regulatory matters as assigned by the role report and other designated assignees.
- Provide day-to-day management on all aspects of the legal function including: (i) Regulatory/legal issues relating to insurance and reinsurance (contract review, policy wordings); (ii) General corporate and commercial advisory work; (iii) Corporate litigation, dispute management and resolution; and (iv) Draft, negotiate, review, approve agreements, legal reports, etc.
- Advise on local legal matters (e.g. civil, criminal, outsourcing, data protection etc) and on any changes/developments in the law when appropriate.
