About the role

The Legal Counsel role directly reports to the Head of Legal – Asia. The role focuses on legal support for North Asia businesses, particularly in Japan and Korea, Global product lines and Overflow legal work across Asia. The Legal Counsel is expected to work closely with business clients to provide high quality, practical, commercially focused and independent legal advice and services in accordance with company policies and applicable ethical and professional standards. The Legal Counsel proactively escalates significant matters and ensures that the Head of Legal - Asia is aware of material legal considerations affecting the business. The role also collaborates with and assists other legal personnel across APAC, the US and Europe, as well as across other group entities.
