The Independent Football Regulator (IFR) protects and promotes the sustainability of English football for the benefit of fans and the communities served by local clubs. The IFR’s activities include improving financial sustainability, ensuring resilience across the leagues, safeguarding heritage, operating a licensing regime, setting corporate governance standards, monitoring compliance, and enforcing regulations on club ownership, fan engagement, and heritage protection.

Role

We seek an experienced corporate lawyer to join our Manchester office and augment the IFR’s legal team. The legal team advises on IFR powers, regulatory investigations, enforcement, litigation, appeals, corporate governance, and public law matters.
