(What the role is) This is a 2-year contract position as a Lecturer, Optometry in the School of Health Sciences. You should be a self-starter who is resourceful and creative, with a passion to teach, engage students to facilitate learning such as experiential/action learning, research/industrial projects, field trips etc. You should have a strong network in the industry and be professionally engaged to undertake curriculum review and development work. (What you will be working on) Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following: Teach optometry-related subjects and perform clinical supervision Develop, review and update curriculum materials to reflect current industry standards and best practices Engage in collaborative projects with industry partners
