SUMMARY:Responsible for the development andimplementation of appropriate curriculum for each child
assigned to her/him.

ESSENTIAL
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.Other duties may be assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Write and implement daily instructional lesson plans according to curricular objectives, including

    • programming for independent work activities. Works with other professional staff as appropriate to

    coordinate
    planning.

  • Establish and implement goals for each child. 
  • Conduct
    continual evaluation of students’ progress including pre and post testing and
    semi-annual formal assessment.
  • Create
    and implement behavior management plans as necessary.
  • Meet
    with parents to gather information for the development of children’s individual
    goals and to report progress.
