As a Lead Rigger, you will design, develop, test, troubleshoot, maintain, and implement rigs for all aspects for VFX shows. You will support studio wide and production project requirements including characters, vehicles, environment and other various aspects. In addition, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling of task deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

Work with production team to create the desired animation controls and qualities for objects and characters

Test and trouble shoots animation controls and makes adjustments as necessary throughout the production cycle

Receive direction from leadership and escalates issues quickly, as needed

Build and design advanced characters, creatures, vehicles and props in Maya using in-house tools and pipeline.

Mentor other members of the rigging team.

Develop and collaborate on tools, rig-modules, workflow and plugins for the Rigging department
