Reporting Relationship The Production Lead reports directly to the Operations Manager.
Responsibilities - The Production Lead is responsible for managing the production unit to ensure the optimal cost and delivery performance of the unit under his/her charge. Control and optimize use of all resources available to produce parts with the best turn time, best quality and lowest cost possible.
- Plans day‑to‑day operations, assigns manpower, plans overtime, monitors/measures employee utilization/efficiency and works with employees to ensure key metrics are achieved.
- Ensure that products are repaired or processed to the required specifications and governing job instructions and other technical data to meet quality compliance.
