Performs venous, capillary and line collections, and Point of Care (POC) testing of all ages to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Subject matter expert on instructing patients with collections of various specimen types. Performs all processes and procedures according to protocol. Responsible for accurate patient identification, specimen integrity and sample labeling. Interacts with customers in a pleasant, efficient and cooperative manner. Performs work in a fast pace environment. Works cooperatively with peers, gives and receives constructive feedback. Responsible for training, educating and mentoring new and existing staff, troubleshooting and resolving problems. Manages and coordinates training for new hires and students.
