Join Elk Valley Resources as the Lead for Regulatory Approvals Implementation, enhancing compliance and environmental management on-site in British Columbia. This role is integral to operationalizing social, environmental, and regulatory approvals.
Reporting to the Senior Lead Environment, Project Development, you will coordinate with various departments, manage compliance tracking, and facilitate regulatory inspections. Your leadership will be crucial in integrating the SERA components into operational practices while fostering relationships with government agencies and local communities to communicate EVR’s commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and manage SERA components for permitting approvals
• Conduct employee education and change management initiatives
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and supervise contractors
• Facilitate regulatory inspections effectively
• Develop relationships with First Nations and local interest groups
