The primary purpose of this position, LEAD EQUIPMENT SPECIALIST, NH 1670-3 is to serve as a technical advisor providing expert technical advice to senior leaders and functional managers in the maintenance, operation and training as it relates to equipment and related systems. Responsibilities Perform technical and administrative team lead duties over primarily employees on a regular and recurring basis over subordinate positions predominantly classifiable in the Equipment, Facilities, and Services Group at the journey level or higher by identifying, distributing, assigning and balancing workload and tasks amongst employees by skill level, proficiency and/or occupational specialization, making adjustments to accomplish the workload in accordance with established priorities to ensure timely accomplishment of subordinate work assignments.
