Your Role
You will be responsible for ensuring that all dental instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, disinfected, sterilised, and ready for safe use. This role is critical in maintaining high standards of infection prevention and control within the dental practice. Training will be provided for the role.
Other duties include:
Identify and log instruments/equipment which require repair/replacement
Monitor stock levels of decontamination supplies and report shortages
To maintain log books and keep paperwork updated
Routine auditing of equipment
Manage workloads within the LDU
