Role Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated lawyer to join us to provide high quality advice and representation to the Council, Officers and Elected Members.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality legal advice and representation to the Council, Officers and Elected Members.
• Advise and conduct legal matters relating to local government law, with a particular emphasis on prosecutions and licensing.
• Support Principal Solicitors, Monitoring Officer and Deputy Monitoring Officer as required.
• Ensure the service meets all statutory requirements and responsibilities.
