Firefighter/Paramedic

The oral boards, paramedic skills exam and written assessment will take place July 9, 2026. All applicants will receive a welcome letter via email. The letter will contain further instructions and a Civil Service number.

Job Summary:

Under the direction of a company officer, performs duties relating to the protection of life and property through fire suppression, rescue, fire prevention and community education activities, and provides advanced life support care to the sick and injured.

Work includes responding to and mitigating emergency situations or natural conditions that pose a threat to life or property; and driving and operating fire apparatus and vehicles.
