The Land Surveyor Assistant will work closely with our team of experienced surveyors to assist in the collection and analysis of data for various land surveying projects in Svalbard. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with limited experience in the field to gain valuable hands‑on experience and training.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting field surveys using various equipment such as GPS total stations and laser scanners.
• Collect and compile data from surveys into digital formats.
• Perform basic calculations and analysis of survey data.
• Support the survey team in setting up and maintaining control points.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working on site.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and accurate data collection.
• Collaborate with other departments as needed to complete projects on time.
