Job Details

Our Lactation Consultant:

+ Provides lactation management services and support to expectant and new parents.

+ Partners with an interdisciplinary team including, but not limited to, the Director of Maternal-Child Nursing, attending physicians, Registered Nurses (RNs), and ancillary staff to facilitate and manage a variety of lactation/maternity patient education programs and development of future programs.

+ Collaborates with staff RNs to achieve maximum breastfeeding outcomes.

+ Identifies expected breastfeeding outcomes which are measurable, realistic and attainable in relation to resources available.
