**Description**

_The Defense Sector at Leidos currently has an opening for a Laboratory Technician to work at our Picatinny Arsenal, NJ site._ _The Senior Laboratory Technician will support research, development, test and evaluation (RDT&E) activities on US Army programs._

**Primary Responsibilities.**

_Participate in the execution of studies that include synthesis, scale-up, and formulation of energetic materials for various applications_

_Support a broad range of studies in support of development of new energetic materials and formulations for additive manufacturing applications_

_Responsible for experimental equipment maintenance, setup and takedown_

_Conduct analysis and testing as directed_

_Collect analytical and test data and prepare reports._

**Basic Qualifications.**

_High school diploma and 2-4 years of relevant experience in an R&D laboratory setting._
