Job Responsibilities Performs a variety of laboratory procedures used to diagnose and treat patients, according to established and approved protocols. Tests are performed under the technical supervision of a clinical laboratory scientist, medical technologist, manager, or laboratory director.
Education Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences (required), or equivalent education and training per CLIA standards.
Completed 24 semester hours of science: 6 in Chemistry, 6 in Biology, and 12 additional in a combination of Chemistry, Biology, or Laboratory Technology.
