Overview
If you have a passion for supporting children with special needs, this full-time position in a dedicated Key Stage 1 SEN room is perfect for you. You'll be helping children with a range of learning differences, creating an environment where they can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group support for children with special educational needs.
- Work with teachers to create tailored learning plans and strategies.
- Support students in developing independence and self-regulation skills.
- Foster a positive, inclusive classroom culture where every child feels valued and supported.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with SEN children, preferably in a primary school setting.
- A calm, patient, and empathetic nature with the ability to build trust and rapport with children.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
