Position Overview

Part‑time Band 5 Mental Health Nurse (Forensic Community Rehabilitation) in Great Western Lodge, Aberdeen.

We provide patient‑centred care, risk assessment and management for eight men with complex rehabilitation needs and support them in developing independent living skills and re‑entering the wider community.

Key Responsibilities

• Support patients in developing independent living skills and re‑entering the wider community.
• Assist with risk assessment and care planning in a forensic setting.
• Participate in the New to Forensic mental health education programme.
• Work a 15‑hour week over an 8‑week period, covering day, night and weekends.

Qualifications

• Registered Mental Health Nurse.
• Strong interest in Forensic Nursing and patient rehabilitation.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
