Chica & the Don is a high-energy Latin restaurant focused on hospitality, cleanliness, and exceptional guest experiences. We’re looking for a dependable, hardworking Opening Porter to help prepare the restaurant each morning and ensure the space is clean, stocked, and service-ready.

This role is essential to keeping the restaurant running smoothly and maintaining high cleanliness standards across the front and back of house.

Responsibilities

The Opening Porter is responsible for opening and preparing the restaurant before service, including:

Front of House Cleaning & Setup

• Clean and maintain restaurant entrance, windows, and guest-facing areas
• Sweep and mop dining room floors, including under seating areas
• Wipe and sanitize tables, chairs, banquettes, doors, and high-touch surfaces
• Empty and re-line trash and recycling bins
• Restock guest bathroom supplies and maintain cleanliness standards
