Applications are invited for a unique, full-time post of Junior Clinical Fellow in Plastic Surgery and Academic Teaching Fellow (80% clinical, 20% Academia). It is a fixed term appointment for a period of 12 months, commencing from August 2024 (other start dates may be considered).

This new position is designed to provide a platform for a Plastic Surgery career-minded Junior surgeon to advance their clinical as well as their academic skills, by being fully engaged in a busy Plastic Surgery service including oncalls, and also participating and managing their academic and educational portfolio output as the Academic Teaching Fellow for the Trust, involved in Undergraduate Training. They will also have the opportunity to register for a higher degree through existing links with the University of Hertfordshire, should they so wish.
