A Southland Holdings company is currently accepting resumes for Construction General Laborer for our large heavy civil project located in Tampa, FL.

+ Construction experience in underground utility, heavy highway, bridges, dirt work, and/or welding, etc.

+ Trenchless experience working around specialized equipment such as Tunnel Boring, Guided Boring and/or Auger Boring Systems

+ Heavy equipment experience preferred, loading/unloading materials, excavating soil, operating and maintaining excavators, backhoes, skidsteers, bucket loaders, and/or forklifts, etc.

+ Jobsite set up experience interpreting plans and specifications, using surveying equipment to calculate grade and alignment.

+ Essential duties include climbing ladders into and out of earthen pits/trenches, walking, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, stooping, squatting, lifting and climbing, full range of motion and use of arms and legs.
