Essential Duties & Responsibilities

+ Directs the development and execution of long-term IT strategies to support the university’s mission, academic goals, and operational objectives

+ Manages the daily operations of IT systems, services, and infrastructure to ensure reliability, security, and efficiency across the institution

+ Oversees the planning, execution, and evaluation of complex IT projects, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities and stakeholder needs

+ Builds partnerships with academic and administrative units to align technology solutions with user needs and improve institutional effectiveness

+ Champions the adoption of emerging technologies and innovative practices to enhance teaching, learning, research, and administrative functions

+ Establishes IT governance structures and ensures compliance with data privacy, cybersecurity standards, and applicable regulations

+ Other duties as assigned
